Tool Building & Management

Ultracast can build tools for both prototyping and low-to-mid volume production. We approach your tooling needs by initially analyzing your component's geometry and its interrelationship to other components in your project. We then consider how many parts the tool will be required to produce and how quickly parts must get to market.

This allows us to develop the best, most cost-effective, tooling methods to satisfy both your delivery schedule and volume needs.

We have in-house capabilities to duplicate your electronic files either by direct machining into patterns using CNC machining centers (Subtractive Rapid Tooling) or as stereolithography model (SLA) models.

Under optimum conditions we can move from your electronic file to first cast sample in as few as three days.
