Metal CastingVirtually any aluminum or zinc alloy can be poured by the Ultracast
vacuum casting method. The most common alloy poured is Alloy A-356, which achieves high strength and
replicates aluminum die castings very closely. Alloy A-713 is often
chosen for applications requiring higher metal strength and stability
such as optical housings.
Our vacuum system allows fine details on the most
challenging component geometries such as deep draws, pins, fins and
thin walls.
All of our metal casting alloys are 100% virgin materials — no remelts. Certificates of conformance, metallurgical, x-ray and zyglow tests are available upon request for ultimate traceability and conformance to specifications.
